The Casagrande B240 XP-2 is a 263 kNm-class piling rig positioned for general foundation work that requires more drilling depth and crowd capacity than a compact rig without moving into a heavy 100 t-plus platform. Its supported configurations cover bored piles, rapid CFA piles, displacement piles, soil mixing, and jet grouting.

The platform pairs a 283 kW power system with a 420 kN nominal crowd winch, an extendable undercarriage, and modular Kelly and CFA arrangements. This combination makes it a practical mid-size reference for projects balancing pile geometry, transport planning, and method flexibility.
